Van (found in some records as Charles Van) was born on Jan 30, 1886 and was one of 10 children of Francois Roger and Aglonie Moutadier. He married Josephine Lecompte on Oct 15, 1906. He died on Sept 18, 1978.

Josephine was born Febuary 10,1886. She married Van C. Rogers on Oct 15, 1906. 

Together Van and Josephine had 11 children: Mildred, Sylvia, Odette, Claude P., Camille Francoise, Llewylyn C., Francis Joseph, Jacqueline, Beulah, Beverly and Rita

Llewelyn was born on Sept 20, 1923 and died on December 8, 1946. His marker in the photo denotes him as a US Navy veteran of World War II.

Frank was the son of Van Rogers and Josephine Lecompte. He was a barber for 50 years in Bourg, Louisiana and served in Korea as a member of the 82d Airborne (US Army) and on the USS Leyte (US Navy). He was born on December 11, 1927 and died on August 20,1998.

Seraphin was the son of Cletus Jean Baptiste Roger and Floriska Adam. He was born on Febuary 28, 1871 in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He married Marie Barrios on Jan  28, 1892 in Lockport, LA. He died in Morgan City, LA on Nov 2, 1948.

Marie Barrios was born in 1877 and died on March12, 1940 in Morgan City, LA

Charles was the son of Seraphin Rogers and Marie Barrios. The marker states the year of birth as 1893 but one records indicates a birth year of 1894.  The marker also honors Charles as a World War I veteran. He was born on Feb 16, 1894 and died on October 30, 1975. he married 4 times, wives being: Ida Landry, Aline Robichaux, Clarice Ford and Loridia Robichaux (not necessarily in order) He married Lorida Robichaux on Sept 7, 1920 in St Mary parish and had one known son, Norman Joseph Rogers (1921-1992).
