Beaubassin Memorial photos at Fort Lawrence, Nova Scotia

After a visit to Fort Lawrence, cousin Vincent Caissie has sent us photos of a new memorial placed at the Fort which lists some of the names of the last inhabitants of Beaubassin prior to its destruction in 1750. The memorial is four-sided, with the names on three of the sides and the fourth documenting the history of the village.
